  29. Expensive gear does have some disadvantages though...

  31. I was at an edit today at a big facilities house in Covent Garden
  32. and we needed to transfer some stills from a Macromedia Director
  33. presentation to video. The facility could do this using a Mac
  34. linked to a Quantel Harry, but it was busy with another client.
  35. (can't have 250 grands worth of gear sitting around doing nothing
  36. for too long...)

  38. I cycled off with the Mac hard drive and hooked it up to my Amiga
  39. running Shapeshifter, grabbed the screens, cropped and scaled them,
  40. imported them onto the PAR and output to BVU SP. Got the tape back
  41. before the Harry was free...
